When <G3753> the people <G3793> therefore <G3767> saw <G1492> <G5627> that <G3754> Jesus <G2424> was <G2076> <G5748> not <G3756> there <G1563>, neither <G3761> his <G0846> disciples <G3101>, they <G0846> also <G2532> took <G1684> <G5627> <G1519> shipping <G4143>, and <G2532> came <G2064> <G5627> to <G1519> Capernaum <G2584>, seeking for <G2212> <G5723> Jesus <G2424>.

Jesus <G2424> answered <G0611> <G5662> them <G0846> and <G2532> said <G2036> <G5627>, Verily <G0281>, verily <G0281>, I say <G3004> <G5719> unto you <G5213>, Ye seek <G2212> <G5719> me <G3165>, not <G3756> because <G3754> ye saw <G1492> <G5627> the miracles <G4592>, but <G0235> because <G3754> ye did eat <G5315> <G5627> of <G1537> the loaves <G0740>, and <G2532> were filled <G5526> <G5681>.

Jesus <G2424> answered <G0611> <G5662> and <G2532> said <G2036> <G5627> unto them <G0846>, This <G5124> is <G2076> <G5748> the work <G2041> of God <G2316>, that <G2443> ye believe <G4100> <G5661> on <G1519> him <G3739> whom <G1565> he hath sent <G0649> <G5656>.

They said <G2036> <G5627> therefore <G3767> unto him <G0846>, What <G5101> sign <G4592> shewest <G4160> <G5719> thou <G4771> then <G3767>, that <G2443> we may see <G1492> <G5632>, and <G2532> believe <G4100> <G5661> thee <G4671>? what <G5101> dost thou work <G2038> <G5736>?

Our <G2257> fathers <G3962> did eat <G5315> <G5627> manna <G3131> in <G1722> the desert <G2048>; as <G2531> it is <G2076> <G5748> written <G1125> <G5772>, He gave <G1325> <G5656> them <G0846> bread <G0740> from <G1537> heaven <G3772> to eat <G5315> <G5629>.

Then <G3767> Jesus <G2424> said <G2036> <G5627> unto them <G0846>, Verily <G0281>, verily <G0281>, I say <G3004> <G5719> unto you <G5213>, Moses <G3475> gave <G1325> <G5758> you <G5213> not <G3756> that bread <G0740> from <G1537> heaven <G3772>; but <G0235> my <G3450> Father <G3962> giveth <G1325> <G5719> you <G5213> the true <G0228> bread <G0740> from <G1537> heaven <G3772>.

For <G1063> the bread <G0740> of God <G2316> is he <G2076> <G5748> which <G3588> cometh down <G2597> <G5723> from <G1537> heaven <G3772>, and <G2532> giveth <G1325> <G5723> life <G2222> unto the world <G2889>.

Then <G3767> said they <G2036> <G5627> unto <G4314> him <G0846>, Lord <G2962>, evermore <G3842> give <G1325> <G5628> us <G2254> this <G5126> bread <G0740>.

And <G1161> Jesus <G2424> said <G2036> <G5627> unto them <G0846>, I <G1473> am <G1510> <G5748> the bread <G0740> of life <G2222>: he that cometh <G2064> <G5740> to <G4314> me <G3165> shall never <G3364> hunger <G3983> <G5661>; and <G2532> he that believeth <G4100> <G5723> on <G1519> me <G1691> shall <G1372> <G0000> never <G3364> <G4455> thirst <G1372> <G5661>.

For <G3754> I came down <G2597> <G5758> from <G1537> heaven <G3772>, not <G3756> to <G2443> do <G4160> <G5725> mine own <G1699> will <G2307>, but <G0235> the will <G2307> of him that sent <G3992> <G5660> me <G3165>.

[What] and <G3767> if <G1437> ye shall see <G2334> <G5725> the Son <G5207> of man <G0444> ascend up <G0305> <G5723> where <G3699> he was <G2258> <G5713> before <G4386>?

It is <G2076> <G5748> the spirit <G4151> that quickeneth <G2227> <G5723>; the flesh <G4561> <G3756> profiteth <G5623> <G5719> nothing <G3762>: the words <G4487> that <G3739> I <G1473> speak <G2980> <G5719> unto you <G5213>, [they] are <G2076> <G5748> spirit <G4151>, and <G2532> [they] are <G2076> <G5748> life <G2222>.
