Every <G3956> branch <G2814> in <G1722> me <G1698> that <G0846> beareth <G5342> <G5723> not <G3361> fruit <G2590> he taketh away <G0142> <G5719>: and <G2532> every <G3956> [branch] that beareth <G5342> <G5723> fruit <G2590>, he purgeth <G2508> <G5719> it <G0846>, that <G2443> it may bring forth <G5342> <G5725> more <G4119> fruit <G2590>.

Now <G2235> ye <G5210> are <G2075> <G5748> clean <G2513> through <G1223> the word <G3056> which <G3739> I have spoken <G2980> <G5758> unto you <G5213>.

Abide <G3306> <G5657> in <G1722> me <G1698>, and I <G2504> in <G1722> you <G5213>. As <G2531> the branch <G2814> cannot <G3756> <G1410> <G5736> bear <G5342> <G5721> fruit <G2590> of <G0575> itself <G1438>, except <G3362> it abide <G3306> <G5661> in <G1722> the vine <G0288>; no more <G3761> <G3779> can ye <G5210>, except <G3362> ye abide <G3306> <G5661> in <G1722> me <G1698>.

I <G1473> am <G1510> <G5748> the vine <G0288>, ye <G5210> [are] the branches <G2814>: He that abideth <G3306> <G5723> in <G1722> me <G1698>, and I <G2504> in <G1722> him <G0846>, the same <G3778> bringeth forth <G5342> <G5719> much <G4183> fruit <G2590>: for <G3754> without <G5565> me <G1700> ye can <G1410> <G5736> do <G4160> <G5721> nothing <G3756> <G3762>.

If <G1437> ye keep <G5083> <G5661> my <G3450> commandments <G1785>, ye shall abide <G3306> <G5692> in <G1722> my <G3450> love <G0026>; even as <G2531> I <G1473> have kept <G5083> <G5758> my <G3450> Father's <G3962> commandments <G1785>, and <G2532> abide <G3306> <G5719> in <G1722> his <G0846> love <G0026>.

If <G1487> the world <G2889> hate <G3404> <G5719> you <G5209>, ye know <G1097> <G5719> <G5720> that <G3754> it hated <G3404> <G5758> me <G1691> before <G4412> [it hated] you <G5216>.

If <G1487> ye were <G2258> <G5713> of <G1537> the world <G2889>, the world <G2889> would <G0302> love <G5368> <G5707> his own <G2398>: but <G1161> because <G3754> ye are <G2075> <G5748> not <G3756> of <G1537> the world <G2889>, but <G0235> I <G1473> have chosen <G1586> <G5668> you <G5209> out of <G1537> the world <G2889>, therefore <G5124> <G1223> the world <G2889> hateth <G3404> <G5719> you <G5209>.

Remember <G3421> <G5720> the word <G3056> that <G3739> I <G1473> said <G2036> <G5627> unto you <G5213>, The servant <G1401> is <G2076> <G5748> not <G3756> greater than <G3187> his <G0848> lord <G2962>. If <G1487> they have persecuted <G1377> <G5656> me <G1691>, they will <G1377> <G0000> also <G2532> persecute <G1377> <G5692> you <G5209>; if <G1487> they have kept <G5083> <G5656> my <G3450> saying <G3056>, they will keep <G5083> <G5692> yours <G5212> also <G2532>.

But <G0235> all <G3956> these things <G5023> will they do <G4160> <G5692> unto you <G5213> for <G1223> my <G3450> <G0000> name's <G3686> sake <G3450>, because <G3754> they know <G1492> <G5758> not <G3756> him that sent <G3992> <G5660> me <G3165>.

If <G1508> <G0000> I had <G2064> <G0000> not <G1508> come <G2064> <G5627> and <G2532> spoken <G2980> <G5656> unto them <G0846>, they had <G2192> <G0000> not <G3756> had <G2192> <G5707> sin <G0266>: but <G1161> now <G3568> they have <G2192> <G5719> no <G3756> cloke <G4392> for <G4012> their <G0848> sin <G0266>.

He that hateth <G3404> <G5723> me <G1691> hateth <G3404> <G5719> my <G3450> Father <G3962> also <G2532>.

If <G1508> <G0000> I had <G4160> <G0000> not <G1508> done <G4160> <G5656> among <G1722> them <G0846> the works <G2041> which <G3739> none <G3762> other man <G0243> did <G4160> <G5758>, they had <G2192> <G0000> not <G3756> had <G2192> <G5707> sin <G0266>: but <G1161> now <G3568> have they <G3708> <G0000> both <G2532> seen <G3708> <G5758> and <G2532> hated <G3404> <G5758> both <G2532> me <G1691> and <G2532> my <G3450> Father <G3962>.

But <G0235> [this cometh to pass], that <G2443> the word <G3056> might be fulfilled <G4137> <G5686> that is written <G1125> <G5772> in <G1722> their <G0846> law <G3551>, <G3754> They hated <G3404> <G5656> me <G3165> without a cause <G1432>.

But <G1161> when <G3752> the Comforter <G3875> is come <G2064> <G5632>, whom <G3739> I <G1473> will send <G3992> <G5692> unto you <G5213> from <G3844> the Father <G3962>, [even] the Spirit <G4151> of truth <G0225>, which <G3739> proceedeth <G1607> <G5736> from <G3844> the Father <G3962>, he <G1565> shall testify <G3140> <G5692> of <G4012> me <G1700>:

And <G1161> ye <G5210> also <G2532> shall bear witness <G3140> <G5719>, because <G3754> ye have been <G2075> <G5748> with <G3326> me <G1700> from <G0575> the beginning <G0746>.
