Thus saith <H0559> the LORD, <H3068> the God <H0430> of Israel, <H3478> unto thee, O Baruch: <H1263>

Thou didst say, <H0559> Woe <H0188> is me now! for the LORD <H3068> hath added <H3254> grief <H3015> to my sorrow; <H4341> I fainted <H3021> in my sighing, <H0585> and I find <H4672> no rest. <H4496>

Thus shalt thou say <H0559> unto him, The LORD <H3068> saith <H0559> thus; Behold, [that] which I have built <H1129> will I break down, <H2040> and that which I have planted <H5193> I will pluck up, <H5428> even this whole land. <H0776>

And seekest <H1245> thou great things <H1419> for thyself? seek <H1245> [them] not: for, behold, I will bring <H0935> evil <H7451> upon all flesh, <H1320> saith <H5002> the LORD: <H3068> but thy life <H5315> will I give <H5414> unto thee for a prey <H7998> in all places <H4725> whither thou goest. <H3212>
